Accessibility
Last updated September 22, 2026
House of SORAE is committed to making soraesocial.com usable by as many guests as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, captions, or other assistive technology.
Conformance goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on public pages — including home, experiences, booking, account sign-in, forms, and legal pages. Where we fall short, we treat barriers as bugs and prioritize fixes.
What we build for
- Skip link to main content and clear page landmarks
- Visible keyboard focus and keyboard access to menus, carousels, and dialogs
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Form fields with visible labels and clear error messages
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences
- Sufficient text contrast on core content
Known limitations
- Some event highlight videos do not yet include synchronized caption files. A short text description is provided next to each video; full captions or an audio description can be provided on request.
- Third-party checkout (Stripe) and external waiver or chat links are controlled by those providers. We choose vendors with accessibility features where we can, and will help you complete a reservation another way if a third-party flow blocks you.
Request assistance
If you have trouble using any part of the site — booking, Notify Me, account sign-in, galleries, or anything else — email hello@houseofsorae.com with:
- The page URL
- What you were trying to do
- The assistive technology or browser you use (if you know it)
- A short description of the barrier
We aim to reply within two business days and will work with you on an accessible alternative for reservations when needed (including phone or email booking support).
Feedback
Accessibility feedback helps us improve. The same email —hello@houseofsorae.com — is the right place for suggestions as well as barriers.
